The Nomination Committee Chaired by Dr. Suresh Nair (Kerala Section and Immediate Past Chair of IC) along with members Dr. Bijay K Panigrahi (Delhi Section) & Dr. Deepa Shenoy (Bengaluru Section) had sought nominations from Section Chairs for the position of Chair – Elect 2025. According to the bye-laws of India Council, the Nominations Committee has unanimously recommended the following slate as IEEE India Council Chair Elect 2025-26.
1. Dr. Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni, Vizag section (Member # 80536573)
2. Dr. Preeti Bajaj, Bombay Section (Member # 40286317)
As per bye-laws, petitions are sought for from candidates interested in serving as India Council Chair Elect 2025. Valid petitions may be submitted within a period of 30 days from the date of announcement of slate on India Council website (19/10/2024). Any petition received after 19/11/2024 shall be invalid. Petition candidates shall require the signatures of a minimum of one percent of the voting members of the Council, with at least 10% of the signatures, coming from each constituent Section as per the MGA Operation Manual. No more than 25 signatures shall be required from each constituent Section.

Candidates interested in serving as India Council Chair Elect 2025 may directly fill Form 1 below. They may request petition supporters to fill Form 2 below. Scrutiny of petition candidates shall be based upon the number of supporters for each candidate in Form number 2.
